Saving Our Ponds Film Series
We’re pleased to announce the launch of a short film series aimed at raising awareness about the growing problem of harmful algal blooms in the freshwater bodies of Cape Cod and the Islands. Produced by the Woods Hole Center for Oceans and Human Health and Circuit Films in collaboration with local community organizations, this series explores the challenges posed by HABs and the critical need for proactive measures to safeguard our precious water resources, highlighting innovative solutions and community actions to mitigate their impact.
Join us on Tuesday, June 25 at noon in Redfield Auditorium at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution for a film screening and release event, with a reception to follow. This event is free and on-site parking will be available.
We invite you to watch these films, share them with friends, family, and colleagues, and join us in taking meaningful steps towards protecting our freshwater ecosystems.
